Swinging the Mambo - Blue Flamingo

Blue Flamingo (real name: Ziya Ertekin) is a DJ from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Ertekin owns a huge collection of 78 RPM jazz and gospel records. He released two unique compilations of this vintage music: 78 r.p.m. (2008) and Congo Jazz (2010). The latter album focuses on jazz and gospel releases from Congo and Congolese jazz artists residing in the surroundings of the Mexican Gulf. The music on Congo Jazz was originally released between the 1920s and 1960s of the 20th century.
