Synops Lyrics

Is it possible to know if I'm telling a lie?
It's treading with a piece
A piece that I can not hideIt's running with a smile
It's better than the last time that I tried
So sing it with your soul
It's coming and it's never late
When I come homeEgotistical, egotistical, ego fall
Egotistical, egotistical, ego fall below
Egotistical, we know, we know, we knowIs it possible to know if I'm dead or alive?
It's treading with a piece
A piece that I can not hideIt's running with a smile
It's better than the last time that I tried
So sing it without soul
And it's coming, it's never late
When I come homeLeave no light on for me
Leave no light on, this war, it rages in me
Leave no light on, this war, it rages in me
Leave no light on, this war, I fear it won't end

Leave no light on, this war, ragesIt's running with a smile
It's better than the last time that I tried
So sing it with your soul
And it's coming, it's never late
When IIt's running with a smile
It's better than the last time that I tried
So sing it with your soul
And it's coming, it's never late
When I come homeHelp me, I need light

Karnivool is a five-piece progressive rock group based in Perth, Australia that was formed by Ian Kenny in 1996, who at the time filled the roles of both guitarist and vocalist for the band while they played Carcass and Nirvana covers. Their name stems from the band being initially described by local fans as "a bunch of clowns". Their style of music can be classified as both progressive rock and alternative rock, with alternative metal undertones. Major influences of the band are Nirvana, Radiohead, Meshuggah, Pink Floyd, Tool, Soundgarden and Carcass.
