Yori Swart from Alkmaar is a Dutch singer/songwriter. She makes Popmusic with a Folk/Alternative edge, reminiscent of Jewel and Michelle Branch. Yori won the prestigeus ''grote prijs van Nederland'' in 2011. In 2012 she released her first album. Since the age of 10 she performs with her guitar. Her inspiration comes from guitar virtuosos Ani DiFranco, singer/songwriter Fink, Jeff Buckley, Joni Mitchell, Fiona Apple en Walis Bird. Yori’s preformances are well known energetic gigs with a lot of integrity, a combination of fierce ad-lips beautiful guitar playing and a nice warm voice.
