Tail Dragger Lyrics

I'm a tail dragger I wipe out my tracks
I'm a tail dragger I wipe out my tracks
well I get what I want and I don't come sneakin' backYou eat your dinner eat your pork n beans
I eat smoked chicken any better to seeI'm a tail dragger I wipe out my tracks
I'm a tail dragger I wipe out my tracks
Said I get what I want and I don't come sneakin' backEverybody laying down there fast asleep
I'm somewhere makin' my midnight creepI'm a tail dragger I wipe out my tracks
I'm a tail dragger I wipe out my tracks
Said I get what I want and I don't come sneakin' backDistrict attorney and the chief of police
They ain't never gonna track down meI'm a tail dragger I wipe out my tracks
I'm a tail dragger I wipe out my tracks
Yes I get what I want and I don't come sneakin' backI'm a tail dragger I wipe out my tracks
I'm a tail dragger and I wipe out my tracks
Well I get what I want but I don't come sneakin' backYes I get what I want and I don't come sneakin' backI'm a tail dragger
Wipin' out my tracks
Stealin' lil' chickies
And they can't find meTail dragger for you baby

Frederick Lincoln "Link" Wray Jr (May 2, 1929 – November 5, 2005) was an American rock and roll guitarist, songwriter and occasional singer. Wray was noted for pioneering a new sound for electric guitars, as exemplified in his hit 1958 instrumental "Rumble", by Link Wray and his Ray Men, which pioneered an overdriven, distorted electric guitar sound, and also for having "invented the power chord, the major modus operandi of modern rock guitarist," "and in doing so fathering," or making possible, "punk and heavy rock".
