Take My Love With You Lyrics

Take My Love with You
Daylight, I think about you and wonder where you are
At night Im wishing, looking at the stars,
But I dont worry bout you, I know that soon youll be home.
But while youre gone
Take my love with you.
Let it be the light that sees you through,
Chase away your blues.
Where you go and what you do,
Take my love with you.
Ill be your talisman. Ill be your lucky charm.
Put it in your pocket. Put it in your heart.
That in your weakness, baby, just let it help you along.
And make you strong
Take my love with you.
Let it be the light that sees you through,
Chase away your blues.
Where you go and what you do.

Take my love with you.
Take my love with you.
Take my love with you.
And if the world around you begins to crumble and fall,
It wouldnt matter at all
Take my love with you.
Let it be the light that sees you through,
Chase away your blues.
Where you go and what you do
Take my love with you.
Let it be the light that sees you through,
Chase away your blues.
Where you go and what you do,
Take my love with you.
Take my love with you.
Take my love with you.
Take my love with you.

Bonnie Raitt, (born November 8, 1949) is an American blues and R&B singer, songwriter, and guitarist who was born in Burbank, California, the daughter of Broadway musical star John Raitt. Raitt began playing guitar at an early age, something not a lot of her high school girlfriends did. "I had played a little at school and at camp," she later recalled in a July 2002 interview. "My parents would drag me out to perform for my family, like all parents do, but it was a hobby—nothing more...I think people must wonder how a white girl like me became a blues guitarist.
