Taunting Cobras Lyrics

Hey you, she's gonna get you
If you go walking by, this corner slow
Don't think she's gonna let you leave
Just because you want to goBoy you, ain't seen nothing yet
It's a long train of regret
Puppets get, no second chance
Pull that string they gotta danceParallel addiction is
A double crucifixion
When you're always out there
Feedin' your headAlways channel surfing 'cause
Your brain it isn't working
When you're looking for
That moment just rememberDon't look, don't stray
Don't talk it over
No time, no way
Listen to me, I'm cold sober
You're just out there
Taunting cobrasHey you, who's gonna warn you?

When it's something, you don't want to know
Don't think, it won't deform you
Twist your mind then let it goBoy you, ain't seen nothing yet
It's a long train of regret
Puppets get, no second chance
Pull that string they gotta danceWelcome to the prison
Let me tell ya, what you're missin'
I've been coming here
For nearly a yearOut there was my corner
'Til I came in for a water
Mixed with whiskey
And a chaser of sideways glancesDon't look, don't stray
Don't talk it over, no
No time, no way
Listen to me, I'm cold sober
You're just out there
Taunting cobrasDon't look, don't stray
Don't talk it over
No time, no way
Listen to me, I'm cold sober
You're just out there
Taunting cobras

Savatage is a heavy metal/progressive metal band founded by the brothers Jon and Criss Oliva in 1979. The band is known for recording many rock operas. Early on, Savatage was a traditional heavy metal band, who stood out from the pack due to guitarist Criss Oliva's uncommonly heavy riffing and vocalist Jon Oliva's unique vocal stylings. Following the failure of Fight for the Rock, an attempt to commercialize their sound, Savatage began moving in a more operatic direction, releasing a number of rock opera albums in collaboration with producer Paul O'Neill.
