Taylor Ann Lyrics

The time has come to set aside
The stories we're told
And talk about the children growing old
For building blocks and colour books
Will soon fade away
And you'll forget the prayers you have prayedIt's funny but I never thought
That you would ever need
Much more than just a simple fantasy
But hours seem to slip away and
Years how they've flown
I've come to see just how much you have grownTaylor ann, the world is waiting just for you
With colour, tears, and all the things I knew
Taylor ann, I hope that we can find the time
To sing your songs and make your poems rhymeToday I found a picture book
With princes and kings
Yes, ev'ryone of us believes in dreams
I know it's hard to understand the
Things that you feel

Where stories end and life becomes so realTaylor ann, the world is waiting just for you
With colour, tears, and all the things I knew
Taylor ann, I hope that we can find the time
To sing your songs and make your poems rhymeTaylor ann, the world is waiting just for you
With colour, tears, and all the things I knew
Taylor ann, I hope that we can find the time
To sing your songs and make your poems rhyme
To sing your songs and make your poems rhymeOh oh taylor ann
