Tear Jerky Lyrics

Well, don't you shut that door
Don't you leave so soon
You wanna know where I've been
Well, I'll tell you the truth
I've seen it all before
None of this is new to me
None of this is new to meYou said that things had changed
And everything was alright
You would wish I was cool
And I'd wish you were nice
Behind your innocent face
Filled with guilty delights for me
Filled with guilty delights for meWith such an innocent life
With such an innocent mind
You get caught when you try to lie
Your whole life has been gentrified
Do you know what I mean? You had secrets to hide
You think I'd never find out

You said your lips were sealed
And then you'd open your mouth
This ain't a question of guilt
This is a question of doubt in you
This is a question of doubt in you, yeahYou want the world on a platter
Want your friends on a string
You want them all to matter
Want them down on their knees
They'll give you what you've dreamed of
But it's not what you need
No, it's not what you needWith such an innocent life
With such an innocent mind
You get caught when you try to lie
Your whole life has been gentrified
Do you know what I mean?
You know what I mean? With such an innocent life
With such an innocent mind
You get caught when you try to lie
Your whole life has been gentrified
Do you know what I mean?

Buck-O-Nine formed in a small warehouse in the early part of 1991. Based in San Diego, the band was on the horizon of a change in the music industry. At the time the catch phrase was “Grunge.” The band was eager to take a different path. With their backgrounds in punk/metal bands, reggae bands and 2nd wave ska bands, Buck-O-Nine had the formula for what was to become a new mutation of sounds. Inspired by the early founders of this new sound, Buck-O-Nine admired the works of Fishbone, Operation Ivy, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and the Voodoo Glow Skulls.
