Tell Me Lord Lyrics

Stars in the place above tonight
It's just the dark, the rest of the sky is bare
Tell me, Lord: Have they all burned out of light?
Tell me, Lord: Are they really still there?
The moon looks like it's lost
You wonder how the night could carry on
Coyotes sing for its return again
That's when you know things cannot be gone long
Where in the world are the stars?
Where in the world is the...
Moon?
Grey days, cold grey days
The sun is blocked by a big old cloud
Tell me, Lord: Is it just a phase?
Tell me, Lord: Is it a lasting shroud?
You've gone and left me blue
So blue I cannot see
I don't know what I'll do

Please, return to me
Where in the world is the sun?
Where in the world are...
You?
...Come on

Delived in a unique high lonesome sound, his minimalist sound has often been described as "haunting", or simply "stunning".
