Tennessee Train Tracks Lyrics

Come dry me out
'Cause I've been drinking all night
Before I pass out I need your ghost to tell me this bloodless voice
Is as meaningless as it soundsHard fought for some spare time
To sit around and search for something I ain't never gonna find
Colors fade in the night sky
Lightning bugs are flashing on theFront porch no it's in my head
To take me back to another time
'Cause once its gone it's just something you ain't never gonna find
No matter how hard you tryThere's no reason to stop it and you
Couldn't if you wanted now
Come dry me out
Just not with yourFist I'm not looking for a fight
Hard fought for some spare time
To search through books and records for something you ain't never
Gonna findIf you could just make up your mind
Train tracks
Can't decide

Tennessee morning leaves you paralyzed

Rocky Votolato is an American musician. He was born in rural Texas in 1978, though was raised in the Pacific Northwest. When his former band Lying on Loot disbanded in 1996, Rocky Votolato, along with friends Rudy Gajadhar (drums) and Andrew Hartley (bass), started playing under the name Waxwing. Rocky's younger brother Cody (The Blood Brothers) soon joined the band on second guitar, and the band recorded their debut 7" for Henry's Finest Recordings. In 1999, Second Nature Recordings released their first full-length, entitled 'For Madmen Only'.
