Texaco Lyrics

Prod by Jahlil BeatsLate night I done ran out of swishas
Shit its only 12: 30, its still kinda early
I pull up to the Texaco before I hop out
I hit the blunt once more and then put it out
Now as I open the door, as I walk in this door
Somebody rushin to the front so the clerk empty the drawer
He put the gun to his face and told him dont move
Im hidin behind a king of Pringles thinkin what Im gon do
Man I might die in this bitch, we just came for some swishas
Im nervous than a motherfucker, man this nigga might kill us
This remind of that motherfuckin scene out of Menace
You know that feeling when youre so nervous you feel like shittin
Then he let off a shot, but dude missed
And Im tryna text the homies like Im stuck in some shit
Why them niggas is fightin? Scrappin over the cash
I saw the blunts by the racks, to grab the pack and hall bags
I went on the block, here come the cops
Tryna see the time but the light dont work on my watch

I made it to the crib and put the key in my house
Yelling to the homies as they sleep on the couch
Im tryna tell em what happened but they say that Im losin it
Told em my nigga came into the store and start shootin shit
These niggas think Im lyin but Im tellin the truth
And if you dont believe me you can turn on the news
The pronounced the clerk dead at 3: 22
Come to find out he surely used to go to my school
He was a nigga named Bryce, I used to fuck with his sister
Crazy motherfucker, always in detention
Now he facing 35 with a public defendant
Man and he aint coming home, its a wrap for that nigga
As we spark up a blunt, who got the light?
Asked er what the fuck we came to do, alright

There are two artists with the name Bow Wow, for the Japanese hard rock/heavy metal act (see Bow Wow)

1. Shad Gregory Moss (born March 9, 1987 in Columbus, Ohio), better known by his stage name Bow Wow, is an American rapper and actor signed to Cash Money Records. He started rapping in 1993 and was noticed by rapper Snoop Dogg, who gave him his stage name then signed him to Death Row Records, and in 1998, at the age of eleven, Bow Wow was introduced to record producer Jermaine Dupri, who has since helped shape his career. He has since released six albums, including a collaboration album with good friend Omarion, Face Off. His seventh studio album, The Transition Of Shad Moss, will be released in 2010.

2. Bow Wow (バウワウ) - Legendary heavy metal act from Tokyo, Japan. Led by guitarist/vocalist Kyoji Yamamoto (山本恭司), the band formed in 1975. Started out as a melodic classic/hard rock band in the mid 'til late 70's, they quickly made a name for themselves and were touring with popular acts of the time, such as Kiss and Aerosmith. Yamamoto proved himself early on as an accomplished guitarist developing the "hammer technique" long before Eddie Van Halen made it popular. In the early 80's Bow Wow changed their sound to a energetic heavy metal sound, fueled with powerful guitar riffs and fast-driven baselines. Spreading their wings internationally, Bow Wow played the Reading festival in Britain and the world famous Montreux Jazz festival in 1982. To capitalize on this venture, Roadrunner Records released the "Asian Volcano" album across Europe. Their presence would be felt on the continent still further with the licensed releases of "Warning From Stardust" in September 1982 on the Heavy Metal label and "Holy Expedition" through Roadrunner in July 1983. Both of these records drew significant media praise, initiating the start of considerable fan support in the Western world. Later on, in 1984, when they changed their band name to Vow Wow, they also changed the line-up and style to a more melodic and commercial side. Please change your tags to Bow Wow.
