That's How a Heartache Begins Lyrics

Tell a little white lie
And then multiply by ten
And then, that's how a heartache beginsMix some flowers he bought
With a date he forgot to attend
And then, that's how a heartache beginsI know about heartaches, I know all the mistakes
That a young love can make, I've made them
So let's still be friends to the soft violins
I've listened while somebody played themCall his number in vain
Again and again, he's not in
But then, that's how a heartache beginsI know about heartaches, I know all the mistakes
That a young love can make, I've made them
So let's still be friends to the soft violins
I've listened while somebody played themCall his number in vain
Again and again, he's not in
But then, that's how a heartache beginsThat's how a heartache begins
That's how a heartache begins

Cline was best known for her rich tone and emotionally expressive bold contralto voice, which along with her role as a mover and shaker in the country music industry, has been cited as an inspiration by many vocalists of various music genres.
