That's Me In the Bar Lyrics

(c) 1995 Croce Publishing adm.
by Lefrak-Moelis Music (ASCAP)
You broke my heart in half the time
Than it's been broken before
You took my soul
And that's a crime
When you walked out the door
I said why are you leaving
You said who needs a reason
It's me that you're grieving
And him that you're pleasing
Don't hold back now you've gone too far
That's him in the window
And me in the bar
Well I don't need our explanations
And I don't need your ali
And I don't need your conversations
'Cause I don't need another lie

So it's over
And this I understand
While I'm in supply
Well he's in demand
One man feels miserable
The other feels grand
Three cheers for the loser let's give him a hand

It was during this difficult time in Croce's life that he began to play the piano.
