The 11th Hour Lyrics

Hey sister do you know what time it was when you finally seen all your broken
dreams come crashing down your door they demand an answer and they demand it
quick or the questions fade and the wasted days come crawling back for more
do you know where the power lies? and who pulls the strings do you know where
the power lies it starts and end with you the face of isolation well well this
one you recognize well you can't get staright it's a lonely place and it's one
you do despise boredom is for sale now and helplessness you feel it's a
wounded dove and the hawks are above blood splattered on a reel to reel I was
almost over my world was almost gone in a sudden rush I coul almost touch the
things that I'd done wrong my sungle's made of concrete through silence I
could feel my aim is true I will walk on through these mountains made of steel

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Brendan Stieneckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

To date, Rancid has released seven studio albums, one split album, one compilation, two extended plays, and a series of live online-only albums, and has been featured on a number of compilation albums. The band has independently sold over four million records worldwide,[4] making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go, featuring the single "Salvation". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves, which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals", "Ruby Soho" and "Time Bomb", and was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the United States alone. Its next four albums, Life Won't Wait, Rancid, Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall, were also critically acclaimed, though not as successful as ...And Out Come the Wolves. Rancid is currently working on an eighth studio album, which is said to be recorded in September 2011, and expected to be released in 2012.
