The Angel Of Death Lyrics

Theres a beautiful land way over the sea
A place was prepared by Jesus for me
Im living the life Ill not go astray
And be with my Lord in heaven somedaySoon the angel of death (soon the angel of death)
Will come callin me (will come callin me)
And many beyond (and many beyond)
That beautiful sea (that beautiful sea)By doin his will (By doin his will)
And obeyin Gods command (and obeyin Gods command)
Ill be standin at the gates (Ill be standin at the gates)
By my saviours right hand (by my saviours right hand)He tells us his word of joy with no end
for those that believe that ground they shall win
He lifted my burden when in despair
Im a goin to heaven, I know my Lords thereSoon the angel of death (soon the angel of death)
Will come callin me (will come callin me)
And many beyond (and many beyond)
That beautiful sea (that beautiful sea)By doin his will (By doin his will)
And obeyin Gods command (and obeyin Gods command)
Ill be standin at the gates (Ill be standin at the gates)

By my saviours right hand (by my saviours right hand)

The Stanley Brothers (Carter Stanley, 1925-1966, and Ralph Stanley, born 1927) were an American bluegrass duo originally hailing from Dickenson County, Virginia. The family soon moved to McClure, Virginia, where their parents worked a small farm in the Clinch Mountains. Music was a part of their lives from the word go, as they were able to listen to the likes of The Monroe Brothers, Mainer's Mountaineers, and other artists featured on the Grand Ole Opry radio program.
