The Architect Lyrics

There's a man, he lives on your TV
Waves his magic wand
Get down on your knees
Wonder what's the spell he's cast on you?
But there's a world we fear it every day
Altruistic thoughts make it a better way
Follow them no matter what they do
No voice, no sound, no knocking on your door or asking around
Your thoughts amplified, reading everything you do
It's easy to analyse everything you do and more
But you won't step out
But you won't go out will you?
Crazy, oblivious, and it's right outside your door
But you don't go out
But you won't go out
Now you're viewing all your favourite sites
Tracking what you love, take away your rights
The right to think, evaluate and choose

An endless world, least that's what you thought
Customized for you whether you like or not
Follow it no matter what they do
Deny your fate, one piece of thinking that's off your plate
Your thoughts amplified, reading everything you do
It's easy to analyse everything you do and more
But you won't step out
But you won't go out will you?
Crazy, oblivious, and it's right outside your door
But you don't go out
But you won't go out
No voice, no sound, no knocking on your door or asking around
Your truth has died
Reading everything you do - you do!
It's easy to analyse everything you do and more
But you won't step out
But you won't will you?
Crazy, oblivious, and it's right outside your door
But you don't go out
It's big brother, doesn't matter what's behind
Controlled fundamentals under all you lies
It's big brother, doesn't matter what's behind
reading everything you do

Belvedere was a canadian melodic punk/hardcore band formed in 1995. Originally not meant to play a show, they gained a cult following in Canada's punk scene. Known for their blazing technical speed and melodic vocals, the band also appeared on the Warped Tour and Groezrock Festival bills.
Taking their name from the '80s sitcom, Belvedere began in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 1995 as the three-piece of Steve Rawles (guitar/vocals), Brock (bass), and Dan Hrynuik (drums).
