The Beast With Two Backs Lyrics

Under the sun, under the moon, under the stars
Throughout the night
To set you alightTo steal your soul
To conquer your mindAnd love is alive
Walk on the land
Swim in the seaYour under the will
Under the power
Forever slaves to the beast with two backs(chorus)
We're still wild after all these years
Still drowning in a sea of tears
And the beast draws us to the flame
Giving us both joy and shameEvery woman, and ev'ry man,
Are but the subjects of total commandWhatever they think
Whatever they do
They are enslaved that is the truthAll of the kings
All of the queens
All of the priests
All of the nobles

The rich and the poor
Forever more forever more(repeat chorus)And there is no god of love
We are born of flesh and blood
To desire we are bound
In lust we are lost and found(repeat chorus)And there is no god of love
We are born of flesh and blood
To desire we are bound
In lust we are lost and foundLove, under the dream
Over the pray
Comes hand and handThere's something more
At the back door
The beast lies in wait
The beast lies in wait(repeat chorus)To the beast we are drawn
As the sun rise in the dawn
Only death can set us free
Only death can set us free
