The Blue Sky Lyrics

Blue sky
(Blue sky)
Blue sky
(Blue sky)
Blue sky
(Blue sky)
Blue skyI find it hard to breathe
As life just eats away
At the faces that surround me
They look tired today
The lady at my table
Doesn't want me hereI just want to talk to her
But would she laugh at my accent
And make fun of me
Oh, it doesn't seem like
This blue sky's here for meThere are no girls in here
As far as I can see
Only pin-up posters

Lookin' down at me
Watchin' paper cups of coffee
Growin' cold before my eyes
All the things I see
That make me realizeI'm in this big world without you
Nothing to my name
Oh, I never knew
That blue sky meant such painBlue sky
(Blue sky)
Blue sky
(Blue sky)
Blue sky
(Blue sky)
Blue skyI'm dying to be different
In the coffee shop
I lived at double strength
Now my supplies are cut
Oh, I'm older than my looks
And older than my years
I'm too young to take on
My deepest fearsOh I used to be confused
But now I just don't know
Since you left I've been watching
Blue skies come and go(Blue sky)
Oh since you left, I've been watching
Blue skies come and go
(Blue sky)

a-ha was a Norwegian band that was globally successful from the 1980s until their split in 2010. The trio, composed of lead vocalist Morten Harket, guitarist Paul Waaktaar-Savoy and keyboardist Magne Furuholmen, formed in 1982 and left Oslo, Norway for London in order to make a career in the music business. The origin of the name a-ha comes from the lyric of an early song. After checking dictionaries in several languages, they found out that 'a-ha' was an international way of expressing recognition, with positive connotations. It was short, a-ha was easy to say and somewhat unusual.
