The Boy Done Wrong Again Lyrics

The boy done wrong again
Hang your head in shame and cry your life away
The boy done wrong again
Hang your head in shame and cry your life away
Are you okay now?On Saturday I was an angel shining fair
You shone louder, longer
You put my shine to shame
Put me to shame nowWhat is it I must do to pay for all my crimes?
What is it I must do? I would do it all the time
Do it all the time nowAll that I wanted was to sing the saddest song
And if you would sing along I will be happy nowThe woodland spring has put the darkness from your thinking
If this town's your sinking ship then you know where to jump
Talking dirty for a hobby, that's alright
So pour another glass of wine I'll think of England this timeAll I wanted was to sing the saddest song
And if would sing along
Oh if you would sing along
If you'd only sing along I will be happier

Belle and Sebastian is a band from Glasgow. Led by guitarist/vocalist Stuart Murdoch, the seven-piece band has an intimate, majestic sound that is equal parts folk-rock and '60s pop. Murdoch has a gift not only for whimsy and surrealism, but also for odd, unsettling lyrical detail which keeps the songs grounded in a tangible reality. Based in Glasgow, Scotland, Belle and Sebastian released their first two albums in 1996: Tigermilk, recorded over three days, and If You're Feeling Sinister, recorded in a week, at the peak of the chamber pop movement.
