The Bright Side Lyrics

I'm just fine, I'll be looking on the bright side
(You got me looking)
(You got me looking)
I lost my fear because fear is never living
(You got me looking)
(You got me looking)
All these promises were madeHey I'm living full stride
I will get this right tonight
(Oh oh oh)
Hey theres movement in me that runs very deep inside
(Oh oh oh)My old man told me life is just beginning
(You got me looking)
(You got me looking)
I climb these stairs but they always leave me empty
(You got me looking)
(You got me looking)
All these promises were madeHey I'm living full stride
I will get this right tonight

(Oh oh oh)
Hey there's movement in me that runs very deep inside
(Oh oh oh)
Hey (hey!) my feet found the beat they dance through the street tonight
(Oh oh oh)
Hey (hey!) there's movement in me that runs very deep insideI'll I'll run to you (ill run to you)Hey (hey!) I'm living full stride I will get this right tonight
(Oh oh oh)
Hey (hey!) there's movement in me that runs very deep inside
(Oh oh oh)Hey I'm living full stride I will get this right tonight
(The brightside there's always a brightside always the right side)
Hey there's movement in me that runs very deep inside
(My old man said life is beginning life is for living)I'm just fine I'll be looking on the brightside

While it’s common practice in rock bios to liken an act to something familiar, it’s hard to do that with San Diego’s We Shot The Moon. That’s because it’s virtually impossible to compare them to any other band out there…not for more than a track or two, at least. We Shot The Moon--led by former Waking Ashland frontman Jonathan Jones--is a piano-heavy indie rock five-piece that formed in the year 2007. On September 29, the band releases its infectious sophomore LP, A Silver Lining, the follow-up to 2008’s Fear and Love, on Minneapolis-based label Afternoon Records.
