The Chase Lyrics

Packed up my things
Midnight I'm leaving
Chasing my dreams
Will you follow
Riding the highway
One stop to Broadway
Little too late to look backYou know that I might be gone forever
Is forever to soon
Don't leave it up to fate to be togetherShe may meet somebody better
She may need more
More than I've got
She may leave me forever
It's the chance that I'm taking
With all that I've got
She may leaveIf I bought you that house
By the Hollywood hillside
Maybe a suite in the city
Would you think twice

Or have you already made up your mind [Mind]
What would it take to be near meYou know that I might gone forever
Is forever to soon?
Don't leave it up to fate to be together
And I'll be there waiting for you
[I'll be there waiting]She may meet somebody better
She may need more
More than I've got
She may leave me forever
It's the chance that I'm taking
With all that I've gotHey, I don't feel the same
Everything was strange
It's taking me over the edge
I'm torn between two loves
Send the prayers above
It's killing me
That she may
That she may need[More than I've got]
[More than I've got]She may meet somebody better
She may need more
More than I've got[She may leave]
She may leave me forever
It's the chance that I'm taking
With all that I've gotIt's the chance that I'm taking
With all that I've got
She may leave

Neverest is a Canadian pop-rock band from Toronto, Ontario. The band was formed by Spyros “Spee” Chalkiotis and Mike Klose. When Spee first began putting together the band that would ultimately become Neverest, he intended it to be a heavy rock outfit, a vehicle to challenge the limits of the skills he was developing as a drummer studying jazz percussion at York University. And though the original band drifted apart, Spee’s efforts to keep the project alive led to a musical partnership with Mike Klose (guitar/keys) that ultimately would form the core of Neverest.
