The Cure Lyrics

I spent some time alone without you
Just to see what I had left behind
I tried to take away the pain
From all the times and all the years I felt let down
But all I saw was you
And when I felt like giving up you said
Oh no
Just keep on running
Oh no
You can give up this timeWe all fall down
No matter who you are
You will feel lonely
To say the least and know that
if you're looking for a cure to this life
You won't find it
No you won't find it aloneI took some time to figure out myself
But only found that I was just more lost than when I started
About the time I hit my knees was when you came

Just like the times before
And when it all came down you were knocking at my door
Oh no
Just keep on running
Oh no
You can't give up this timeWe all fall down
No matter who you are
You will feel lonely
To say the least and know that
if you're looking for a cure to this life
You won't find it
No you won't find it aloneAnd even when I can't see past the place I'm in
I know that you are there
I know you'll raise me up again
Oh no
Just keep on running
Oh no
You can't give up this timeWe all fall down
No matter who you are
You will feel lonely
To say the least and know that
if you're looking for a cure to this life
You won't find it
No you won't find it alone

Novice is a four piece rock band from Hollister, CA. The band originally formed in the fall of 2002 and has been turning heads ever since. In the beginning, the four members spent what ever free time they had writing and rehearsing songs and playing as many shows as they could. With each show the band proved to the audience that they were not your average “local band”. After only a short period of time, Novice had gained a large following in the local scene. In the summer of 2003, Novice headed into the studio to record the A Day out in the Sun EP.
