The Day It Rained Forever Lyrics

The rain it cuts against my crossbow
Making love just ends in sorrow
But I'm not the sort of guy
Who could cry and say goodbyeThe day it rained forever
The day it rained forever
Feeling like your foolLaying down without your breathing
The trouble is beneath your feeling
But you're not the sort of girl
Who could cry and say goodbye
It's such a shame to hear you lieThe day it rained forever
The day it rained forever
The day it rained forever
The day it rained forever
Feeling like your foolWatching rain that crashes my home
Not that feeling raising my hopes
But I'm not the sort of guy
Who could cry and say goodbye
I wasn't born to see this dieThe dayBut I can't hold out for long

For your foolish tongue I can't hang onThe day that it rained, that it rained
That it rained forever
The day it rained foreverThe day that it rained, that it rained
That it rained forever, forever
But wait, but wait
It rained, it rained
