The Dwarf Song Lyrics

They lay me down
In a boat like a swan
The fairies served me tea
In a buttercup
And I'm goneWe float in her
Her wings are clipped
But she swims so good
Our fine swan ship
And I dip into her eyesI found a reason to live today
I found a reason to live todayMy clumsy hands
Are full of grace
I make them dance
In the strangest place
They fall downThe trees bow
Their sleepy heads
Their flowers drip
Into my bed
And I touch them to my cheekI found a reason to live today

I found a reason to live todayThey lay me down
In a boat like a swan
The fairies served me tea
In a buttercup
And I'm goneI found a reason to live today
(I found a reason to live today)

The Geraldine Fibbers was the bluesy, grungey, country tinged vehicle of singer/songwriter Carla Bozulich, a longtime veteran of the Southern California post-punk scene who previously tenured in Ethyl Meatplow and Neon Vein. After the former's 1993 breakup, Bozulich formed the Fibbers with guitarist Daniel Keenan, bassist William Tutton, violinist Jessy Greene, and drummer Kevin Fitzgerald, debuting the following year on the Sympathy For The Record Industry label with the EP get thee gone.
