The Glory Of Love Lyrics

You've got to give a little, take a little
And let your poor heart break a little
That's the story of, that's the glory of loveYou've got to laugh a little, cry a little
Before the clouds roll by a little
That's the story of, that's the glory of loveAs long as there's the two of you
You've got the world and all its charms
And when the world is through with you
You've got each other's armsYou've got to win a little, lose a little
And always have the blues a little
That's the story of, that's the glory of loveAs long as there's the two of you
You've got the world and all its charms
And when the world is through with you
You've got each other's armsYou've got to win a little, lose a little
And always have the blues a little
That's the story of, that's the glory of love
That's the story of, that's the glory of love

James Francis Durante, better known as Jimmy Durante or Schnozzle (Snozzle) Durante, (February 10, 1893 – January 29, 1980) was an American singer, pianist, comedian and actor, whose distinctive gravel delivery, comic language butchery, jazz-influenced songs, and large nose — his frequent jokes about it included a frequent self-reference that became his nickname: "Schnozzola" — helped make him one of America's most familiar and popular personalities of the 1920s through the 1970s.
