The Good Old Days Lyrics

I know Im not too much of a bargain
And you know thats not what you bargained for
As the hours turn into days
Pretty soon lost in the haze
Its up to you and me and whos to say
These could be the good old daysI like waking up after a bad dream
Makes it feel like life aint bad
Little kids go out to play
Theyre just happy its another day
Its up to you and me and whos to say
These could be the good old daysI guess I could be a quiet hero
No one knows the good Ive done
Youre not sure well thats okay
Cause I am and Im not afraid
Its up to you and me and whos to say
These could be the good old days

The Libertines are an English garage rock revival band that formed in London in 1999 and disbanded in 2004. They reformed in 2010 to play the Reading and Leeds festivals. The band released two full-length LPs, both produced by Mick Jones of The Clash. Centered around the song-writing partnership and chemistry between Peter Doherty (vocals/rhythm guitar) and Carl Barât (vocals/lead guitar), while backed by John Hassall (bass) and Gary Powell (drums), the band was one of the cornerstones of the English independent scene in the early 2000's.
