The Happy Song Lyrics

When I sing this song y'all
I'm singing it for my baby
She's the only one that can bring me joy
That's why I sing these happy songs
They go
Dum dum baby de dum dum, sing it again
Dum dum baby de dum dum, happy, happy song
Dum dum baby de dum dum, come on now
Happy song, happy, happy song
On a cold, rainy and windy night
She'd shut off the door, she cut off the light
She hold me close and squeeze me tight
She says, Big E everything's all right
They go
Dum dum baby de dum dum, sing it again
Dum dum baby de dum dum, all those happy song
Dum dum baby de dum dum, come on now
Happy song, happy, happy song

I'm bringing my breakfast to the table
When I go to work she knows I'm able
Do my job and come back in
You wanna see my baby's face
She just grins, grins, grins, she goes
Dum dum baby de dum dum, sing it again
Dum dum baby de dum dum, all those happy song
Dum dum baby de dum dum, oh
Happy song, happy, happy, happy, happy
Dum dum baby de dum dum, oh
Dum dum baby de dum dum, happy, happy song
Dum dum baby de dum dum, come on now
Dum dum baby de dum dum, yeah, happy song
Dum dum baby de dum dum, yeah, all those happy song
Dum dum baby de dum dum, just give me those happy song
Dum dum baby de dum dum

Pagoda is a band from Brooklyn, New York with Michael Pitt as vocalist and guitarist, along with new additions: Reece on drums, Willie on bass, and Chris on cello. Their first self-titled album was released in 2007. The name Pagoda comes from the asian-type building style. As Pitt put it, "It was really just one of the names that didn't suck as much as the others." Until early 2007, Pagoda shared its name with the Washington DC indie rock band now known as Roofwalkers.
