The Heaven I Call Home Lyrics

In My Thoughts I Still Can See My Homeland Across The Sea
With A Character And Style Thats All It's Own
And Compared With All The Rest It's The Place That I Love Best
County Mayo You're The Heaven I Call Home
Oh How I'd Long To Stray Down Along The Natures Way
Where The Larch And The Pines Grow Straight And Tall
By The Heather And Wild Flowers I Will While Away The Hours
And Rest A While Beside The Waterfall
Chorus:
FONDEST MEMORIES LINGER STILL AND I KNOW THEY ALWAYS WILL
ALL THOSE MANY SIMPLE PLEASURES I HAVE KNOWN
AND THE CAREFREE DAYS I SPENT ALWAYS HAPPY AND CONTENT
COUNTY MAYO YOU'RE THE HEAVEN I CALL HOME
On The Road To Westport Town You Can See For Miles Around
The View It Seems Halfway Across The Globe

Across The Mountains To Cloobeigh , To Connemara In Galway
And Across The Great Loch Mass To Ballinroe
Chorus To Tag:
Tag:
Please God I Will Someday, Return Again To Stay
In The Place That's Like No Other I Have Known
For It Will Always Be Home Sweet Home To Me
County Mayo You're The Heaven I Call Home
County Mayo You're The Heaven I Call Home
