The High Lyrics

You made your promises
I've held on believing in all of them
Love timeless ; that`s what you said
So wise, your past coming back for its revengeMy arms, yea they're reaching for stones
But they`re covered in scars
Oh baby you`re the bleeding of my heart
Yea your touch left a mark
I`m no light I`m no dark
Oh baby you`re the most important partChorus :
Baby we fly so high
Feeling like we could live forever and we`re going straight for heaven
You and I
You say it`s alright
You wipe off the tears from my heart
You say you`re gonna love me better
For for now and for forever
You and IYou search for love in vain
I`m gon need every breath would it takeMy arms, yea they`re reaching for stones

But they`re covered in scars
Oh baby you`re the bleeding of my heart
Yea, your touch left a mark
I`m no light, I`m no dark
Oh baby you`re the most important partChorosYou left a stain
And now I wear it like I`m wearing my own name
Oh we`re the same
You throw your spite, I`ll take a bite
So who`s to blame
We`re back on the highChorosFeeling like we could live forever and we`re going straight for heaven
You and I ( repeated 4 times )

Katriana Huguet better known by her stage name Kat Dahlia, is a Cuban-American singer and songwriter known for her "razor sharp" lyrics and her unique, aggressive flow. After self-financing an EP and a music video, Dahlia was brought to the attention of veteran record executive Sylvia Rhone by A&R representative Amanda Berkowitz. In 2012, describing Dahlia as "more than just a pop artist," Rhone signed her to her newly-launched label, Vested In Culture (VIC), a joint venture with Epic Records. Dahlia's debut album is set to come out in 2013, and will be VIC's inaugural release.
