The Invisible Man (2002 Remastered Version) Lyrics

Everywhere he goes and everything he does
Everything proves him that he don't exist for them
They don't understand what the invisible man understandsEveryday he tries and every night he dies
Looking for someone like him, someone who don't walk by him
Someone who knows what the invisible man understands
He doesn't knows, he don't sell cars, never famous and know one knowsSticks and stones can't hurt him
You can dance on his grave when he's gone
But the invisible man will still touch your hand
'Til you understand what he wants, oh, well, look outDo you think you know him?
Do you think that you know him?
All the lies and deceit you give, the curses and cries you give
Do you understand what the invisible man understands?Invisible man, do you understand? Maybe it is you
Invisible man, do you understand? Maybe it is you
Maybe it is you, maybe it is you
Maybe it is you, maybe it is youDo you think you understand?
Do you think you understand?

The core members of Generation X, a seminal British punk rock band with heavy new wave and power pop influences, were singer-songwriter Billy Idol (who has since maintained a remarkable 30+ year solo career) and bassist Tony James (later of Sigue Sigue Sputnik and for a spell Sisters of Mercy before settling in Carbon/Silicon). Generation X was formed in 1976 after guitarist Billy Idol (a.k.a William Broad) and bassist Tony James decided to go out on their own, leaving Gene October, the leader of their then band Chelsea.
