The Killing Moon (Life at Brian's) Lyrics

Under blue moon I saw you
So soon you'll take me
Up in your arms
Too late to beg you or cancel it
Though I know it must be the killing time
Unwillingly mineFate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to himIn starlit nights I saw you
So cruelly you kissed me
Your lips a magic world
Your sky all hung with jewels
The killing moon
Will come too soonFate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until

You give yourself to himUnder blue moon I saw you
So soon you'll take me
Up in your arms
Too late to beg you or cancel it
Though I know it must be the killing time
Unwillingly mineFate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to himFate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him
You give yourself to himLa la la la laFate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to himLa la la la laFate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to himFate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to himLa la la la la

Echo & the Bunnymen are a British post-punk band formed in Liverpool in 1978. The original line-up consisted of Ian McCulloch (of The Crucial Three), Will Sergeant and Les Pattinson. There are many stories, probably apocryphal, that the quartet was completed by a drum machine known as "Echo". By the time of their debut album, 1980's Crocodiles - a moderate UK hit - the drum machine had been replaced by Pete de Freitas.
