The Last Song Lyrics

The time has come to say goodbye
The sun is setting in the sky, the truth turned out to be a lie
Its over, over, hum yourself a lullaby
This is the end but baby dont you crySo take away the melody
And all thats left are memories of lovers, friends and enemies
Theyre all fading, you may not remember me
I havent got the strength to carry onIf this is the last song Ill ever sing
Then Im giving it everything, Im giving it all
If this is the last song that Ill ever play
Then I guess its time to take my curtain callIm dying to thank you all
Im dying to thank you all
Im dying to thank you all
Thank you all, yeahSo heres to all the lonely hearts
'Cause mines been ripped and torn apart
Im colder now, its getting dark but Ill be okay
Bury me with my guitar and all the way to hell Ill playIf this is the last song Ill ever sing
Then Im giving it everything, Im giving it all
If this is the last song that Ill ever play

Then I guess its time to take my curtain callIm dying to thank you all
Im dying to thank you all
Im dying to thank you all
Thank you all, yeahOne more song before Ive got to go
(Im singing, oh)
From the very bottom of my soul
(And hear it, oh)
Every single word and every note, Im pleading
Let me hear you sing it out once more with feelingOne more song before Ive got to go
(Im singing, oh)
From the very bottom of my soul
(And hear it, oh)
Every single word and every note, Im pleading
Let me hear you sing it out once more with feelingIf this is the last song Ill ever sing
Im giving it everything, Im giving it all
If this is the last song that Ill ever play
I guess its time to take my curtain callIf this is the last song Ill ever sing
Then Im giving it everything, yeah Im giving it all
If this is the last song Ill ever play
Then I guess its time to say we thank you all
