The Last Story Ever Lyrics

Hold me with you for tonight
Something builds which is not right
It's getting closer to the time
Where all shall be told in one last rhymeThis is the last story ever
The last story ever, ever againThe golden princess, oh so bright
She turns and she says
("better check what you're running on
'Cause the lights there are gonna control you now")
Her hands are rinsed of all men's crimes
How blindBut this is the last story ever
This is the last chance we'll ever have together
It takes from the past to forever
So this is the last story ever, ever again("better check what you're running on
'Cause the lights there are gonna control you now")
Ever again
("better check what you're running on
'Cause the lights there are gonna control you now")
Ever again

("better check what you're running on
'Cause the lights there are gonna control you now")Hold me with you for tonight
Something builds which is not right
It's getting closer to the timeBut this is the last story ever
This is the last chance we'll ever have together
It takes from the past to forever
So this is the last story ever, ever againThe last story ever, ever again
("better check what you're running on
'Cause the lights there are gonna control you now")
Ever again
("better check what you're running on
'Cause the lights there are gonna control you now")

History---
Deadsy was formed in 1995 by Elijah Blue Allman, the son of Cher and Greg Allman. Using the stage name Philips Exeter Blue I he recorded some demos with Alec Puro and later sent a Roland Juno-106 keyboard to Renn as an invitation to join the band. Deadsy signed to Sire Records, recruiting Jay Gordon of the band Orgy, to play bass their eponymous debut album. After the album was recorded and released to the press Gordon was replaced by Craig Riker joined on bass as a full time member, and they were once again writing songs for the upcoming full length Commencement.
