The Lord Is Real (time Will Reveal) Lyrics

We givin' honor to God
Who's a head of our house
Thankin' Him for His many blessings
And all He's done for us
And Blackstreet would like to share
All He's given us, with you
Jesus is real
Yes, He is real to me
More precious than silver
More precious than diamond rings
Or anything that I could give Him
It wouldn't be the thing
It's good to know the love inside from Him
It guides me through
Ain't it good to know He's true
(I, I know the Lord is real)
And this is how I feel
(In time it will reveal)

He said with Christ, He gave His life for us
It'll all reveal in time
{Yes it will all reveal in time}
(I know it'll reveal )
{So you don't have to worry
You don't have to be afraid}
{All you got to do is trust in Him
And never doubt
He will always be there for you
He will never let you down
And I believe in that
'Cuz I'm a living witness to this, y'all}
(Yes I'm, yes I'm)
{'Cuz without God
My life would be nothin'
So if you believe in what I'm sayin'
I want you all to come on and repeat after me}
(Com'n)
{I know the Lord is real}
(I know the Lord is real)
Yes He's real I know
(Yes He's real I know)
He gave His life, He sacrificed
(He gave His life, He sacrificed)
Just to save my soul
(Just to save my soul)
Come on ya'll
I know the Lord
(I know the Lord is real)
Yes he's real I know
(Yes He's real I know)
He gave us all His blessings
(He gave us all His blessings)
It was two thousand years ago
(It was two thousand years ago)
Now come on y'all
Help me sing a song
(Yeah yeah yeah)
Yeah
(The Lord is real)
Yes He's real
(Yes He's real)
Say
(This I know)
('Cuz I can feel it in my soul)
I can feel it in my soul
(Yeah yeah yeah)
Yeah
(The Lord is real)
He is a person, a friend of mine
(Yes He's real)
Com'n
(This I know)
('Cuz the Bible said so)
Ya gotta take it a little higher
Blackstreet, help me sing
(Yea yea yea)
Would it be, we had a Jesus?
(The Lord is real)
I know, He's real
(Yes He's real)
I can feel it in my soul
(Yes I Can feel it in my soul)
(Yea yea yea)
(The Lord is real)
I know, He's real
(Yes He's real)
(This I know)
This I know
('Cuz the Bible says so)
(Yea)
Help me yea
(The Lord is real)
He's real, He's real
(Yes He's real)
I can feel in my hand
I can feel it in my soul
(This I know)
('Cuz I can feel it in my soul)
I can feel ohh
(This I know)
('Cuz I can feel it in my soul)
(Yea)
(The Lord is real)
Do you know He's real?
Will you know He's real?
(I know, He's real)
(Yes he's real)
(Will you know He's real real real?)
(This I know)
('Cuz the Bible says so)
Ohh
May the grace of God rest with you
And abide with you forever
In Jesus name
Amen, God bless you

Blackstreet was an American R&B group founded in 1994 by Teddy Riley, a New Jack Swing pioneer known for his work as a member of Guy. The band members were: Teddy Riley, Chauncey Hannibal, Eric Williams, and Terrell Philips (and formerly Joe Stonestreet, Levi Little, David Hollister, and Mark Middleton). Their debut album, Blackstreet, was a moderate success due to the singles "Booti Call" and "Before I Let You Go", both Top 40 hits ("Before" hit the Top 10). The follow-up, 1996's Another Level was a breakthrough success due to the top single "No Diggity" (with Dr. Dre), which was a #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in November 1996, and won the 1998 Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, along with the Top 40 hit "Don't Leave Me". Another Level eventually went four times platinum in the United States and peaked at #3 on the Billboard chart. "No Diggity" is ranked at #91 on Rolling Stone and MTV: 100 Greatest Pop Songs, while Blackstreet comes in at #214 of the Top 500 Pop Artists of the Past 25 Years.

Blackstreet has also collaborated with Jay-Z on his single "The City is Mine". With the help of the Janet Jackson single "Girlfriend", Blackstreet finally had a top ten album with Finally. But personnel shifts wracked the group and contributed to the relative failure of Finally in 1999, and Blackstreet soon broke up. After rumors of legal action and a preemptive countersuit, the group re-banded and released Level II in 2003.

In 2006 They are part of New Jack Reunion Tour Line up.
