I had drifted from the others a lost sheep gone astray.
The Shepard knew I was missing for my face he didn't see and he left the ninety nine and came searching for me.
Alone and weary insofar off trouble land crying out for mercy holding up a febrile hand. knowing I was done forever till Shepard heard my plea.
When he left the ninety nine and came searching for me.
He lifted me from darkness, a shelter from all harm.
At last I knew I was back safely in my Shepard's arms.
When my trials here are over and my journey is complete and I'm safely home with Jesus back in my Shepard's keep I will praise him forever throughout eternity for leaving the ninety nine and come searching for me.
