The Masses Are Asses Lyrics

I still get angry
I still get sad
And the losers
Still drive me mad
And I wonder
If I have anything to say anymore
Oh yea I wonder
If I have anything to sayExcept the masses
Are asses
Oh yea the masses
Are asses
They're all assesThings still
Piss me off
And things
Still make me cry
Poetry's in motion not in mind
Poetry's in motion but not in my mind
Poetic justice will come in time

And I just have to laugh
I just have to laughBecause the masses
Are asses
Oh yea the masses
Are asses
We're all assesLet's rockPoetry's in motion not in mind
Poetry's in motion but not in my mind
Poetic justice will come in time
And I just have to laugh
I just have to laughBecause the masses
Are asses
Oh yea the masses
Are assesOh yea the masses are asses
Masses are assesMasses are asses every day
Masses are asses in every way
Woo woo

L7

L7 was a grunge band. The band was formed in 1985 by Donita Sparks and Suzi Gardner, who were later joined by jennifer finch and Dee Plakas. They signed to Epitaph Records for their first album and to Sub Pop in 1989. The name is taken from a slang phrase from the 1950s which means "square," but is often mistaken for a reference to a sex position, also called "69". In 1991 the band formed Rock for Choice, a pro-choice women's rights group which was supported by other bands of that era, including Nirvana, Mudhoney, Pearl Jam, 7 Year Bitch.
