The Musers: Clarence Murphy on Corey Haim - SportsRadio 1310 The Ticket

The Ticket is an AM sports talk radio station in Dallas founded in late January 1994. It is a mix of sports and guy talk, with a "yuk monkey" staffed on the drive-time shows. The long-standing core lineup is:
5:30-10 AM: The Gentle Musers
10-noon: Norm Hitzges
noon-3 PM: BAD Radio
3-7 PM : The Hardline In addition to a yuk monkey, they also make liberal use of "drops" to keep the mood light. Drops are audio snippets taken from previous broadcasts interjected for comedic value and often treated by the on-air banter as if they were happening live.
