The Next One Lyrics

Pull up a seat, strange we should meet, tonight
You look so alone, and baby so am I
You could write my story,
Just whisper I love you Lorrie
Yeah baby, just maybe, you could be the next one
Your eyes aren't like his
Your smile is like no other's
And if we're lucky
We could be the best of lovers
Buy me a drink
Give me a light
Hey, I don't smoke but I'm thinking about lighting up tonight
Cause you might be, mmm the next one
You might be the next one to break my heart
You might be the next one to tear me apart
Then I'd be here
Same time, same place next year
Just waiting for the next one

Hey Mr. Piano man play a song for me and my new man
Play something kinda swanky, by Deano or Franky
I'm thinking maybe, the sun would look pretty
Coming up in your eyes
Wanna give it a try hun
Cause you might be the next one
