The Nine to Life Lyrics

I never thought today would matter. I never acted like it made a difference. One day I looked, my plan had shattered. And all the notes I played were wrong, discordant. Where will I go, what will I do? Can I save myself if I save you? Does it matter anyway? If I leave what will they say? I wonder, does it matter anyway? Why did I think I heard a calling? What made me think that i have something to offer? If I trip will the dominos start falling? Are you really ready to give me your sons and daughters? Where will they go? What will they be? Who will raise them, you or MTV? Does it matter anyway? When you're old, what will they say? I wonder does it matter anyway? Does it matter anyway? Can you see past today? Does it matter, does it matter anyway? Will you lead them on their way? Where will they go, what will they be? Who will raise them you or MTV? When you're old, what will they say? I wonder does it matter anyway?

The Soviettes were a four-person stripped down and straight up punk band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, founded in 2001. The group was composed of Annie (guitar), Sturgeon (guitar), Susy (bass guitar), and the sole male in the band, Danny (drums), all of whom switched off singing duties. They named the band "The Soviettes" when Annie was serving coffee in a previous job; one of her customers suggested "Your band should be called The Soviettes".
