The Nonbeliever Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
The first of the nonbelievers
They denied every single word he said
Though he could assure them the men in parade
Would lead them into even grayer daysThe agnostic man made his way through the crowd
Told no stories, just stepped up to disprove
But reality is classified and so is the truth
Now he's staring up a dirty prison roof, prison roof
He's staring up a dirty prison roofNo mission completed, conquered defeated
Counting his days of hope and pride
Well, on the bunk he died, his soul is locked in

But like a torch it burns here tonightThe first of the nonbelievers
They denied every single word he said
Though he could assure them the men in parade
Would lead them into even grayer daysNo mission completed, conquered defeated
Counting his days of hope and pride
Well, on the bunk he died, his soul is locked in
But like a torch it burns here tonightHe was the first of the nonbelievers
They denied every single word he said
Though he could assure them the men in parade
Would lead them into even grayer daysHe was the first of the nonbelievers
They denied every single word he said
Though he could assure them the men in parade
Would lead them into even grayer days

The group was formed in 1995 with a line-up of singer Mårten Cedergran, guitarists Richard Andersson and Sami Korhonen, bassist Mathias Lindh, and drummer Chrille Hermansson, and had performed under its original band name, Down and Out, before changing it to Bombshell Rocks. In early 1996, Bombshell Rocks released an EP in form of a mini six-track album, Who's the Real Bastard. During this period, Thomas Falk became the band's drummer and Christian Määttä the band's guitarist, after Chrille and Sami left the band.
