The One You Love to Hate Lyrics

You may not like the future
And we're not here to preach to you
We'll take you to the killing floorYou think you want to know me
You think you want to own me
But I have nothing you can buyI can break you, I can raise you
Bring you to your knees
'Cause I'm the one you love to hateYou can't fool me, you can't rule me
You only wanna hang around
'Cause I'm the one you love to hateSo come on, get a load of this
Something you can't afford to miss
You're just a vulture on my veinsYour nails won't crucify me
Got money, but you can't see
Your only future is your pastI can break you, I can raise you
Bring you to your knees
'Cause I'm the one you love to hateYou can't fool me, you can't rule me
You only wanna hang around
'Cause I'm the one you love to hateI can break you, I can raise you
Bring you to your knees

'Cause I'm the one you love to hateYou can't fool me, you can't rule me
You only wanna hang around
'Cause I'm the one you love to hateI can break you, I can raise you
Bring you to your knees
'Cause I'm the one you love to hateYou can't fool me, you can't rule me
You only wanna hang around
'Cause I'm the one you love to hateThe one you love to hate
'Cause I'm the one you love to hate
The one you love to hate
'Cause I'm the one you love to hate

His two previous projects were a "street metal"-style band called Fight and the industrial metal band 2wo. Halford's first album "Resurrection" was included in Martin Popoff's "The Top 500 Heavy Metal Albums of All Time". As well, the songs "Silent Screams" and the title-track "Resurrection" were included in Popoff's list. The track "The One You Love to Hate" included guest vocalist Bruce Dickinson, from Iron Maiden.
