The Other Side Lyrics

Every time I turn around
A man tries to get me down
I just can't see your face
I'm blinded by the sun, living on the run
And I can't remember this placeTake me to the other side
Wind, won't you let me ride?
Take me to the other side, oh pretty mama
And on the wind won't you let me ride?'Cause every time I turn around
A man's trying to get me down
I just can't see your face
I'm driving on the river, tires on my Mercedes gone
Now it's time to put the hammer downWon't you take me to the other side?
Let me go when I'm high
Well, take me to the other side, oh pretty mama
And on the wind won't you let me ride?Cowboy's your given name
Nothing ever stays the same
'Cept the rain falling down
You can't keep from goin'

No, the wind is always damn cold
It's time to put the hammer downWon't you take me to the other side?
And let me go when I'm high
Well, take me to the other side, oh pretty mama
And on the wind won't you let me ride?Well, won't you take me to the other side?
And on the wind won't you let me ride?

George Ryan Bingham (born March 31, 1981 in Hobbs, New Mexico) is an American folk rock/Americana singer/songwriter. In addition to his solo albums, Bingham recorded two albums as Ryan Bingham & The Dead Horses. Bingham dropped out of school at 17 and was introduced to rodeo bull riding. He learned the emotional aspect of pain early in life, when shuttling between small towns and family members in the hardscrabble ranching communities of West Texas and Hobbs, New Mexico -- and became well-acquainted with the physical facets of pain during his years on the Southwestern rodeo circuit.
