The Phone, the Phone Lyrics

You told me to call you but
You know I don't use the phone, the phone
I'd like to speak some more, but
I'm scared of the dial tone, dial toneI go to school in the bottom of your pool
Bottom of your pool
I go to sleep when I finish counting sheep
Finish counting sheep
I'm bored again tonight, and
There is nothing much to do, to do
So I'll just sit here and wait
Thinking of reasons to call you
Which I'll never doI go to school in the bottom of your pool
Bottom of your pool
I go to sleep when I finish counting sheep
Finish counting sheepShow me who I am
Show me who I am
Show me who I am
Show me who I am

Show me who I am I am me
Show me who I am
Show me who I am
I go to school in the bottom of your pool
Bottom of your pool
(I haven't talked to anyone, I guess ? are my only friends)Um, by the end there, like, just to ask, was I like, hitting the notes?

PLUMTREE was a quartet from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Formed in 1993 when the sisters Carla Gillis and Lynette Gillis met up with Amanda Braden and Nina Martin, Plumtree quickly established themselves as one of the more original young bands in Canada. Catriona Sturton replaced Martin on bass later on. The band quickly developed a highly collaborative songwriting method which combined catchy melodies, a serious approach to writing music and solid instrumentation. Plumtree split up in 2000.
