The Pretender - Tessa Rose Jackson

Singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. On stage Tessa Rose has a totally natural presence. She doesn't like exaggerated show, or too much emphasis on form at the expense of content. Both on stage and in her forthcoming debut album she is always teasing out the tension between small/intimate and expansive/dynamic. Not only does the 20-year old songstress write all of her music herself, she arranges her own songs, is her own producer and plays most of the instruments on her recordings.
