The Price Lyrics

The honey taste still hangs on my tongue
There's so many things to tell you
But now you're gone, now you're goneThe price of the words I could never say
Was the tears washed the love away
Please, please, come back to meThe price as the smiles and the kisses fade
Was the hopes and the memories stayed
Please, please, come back to meAs I search to find the reasons to bring you home
The only words I can find to tell you are
I was wrong, I was wrongThe price of the words I could never say
Was the tears washed the love away
Please, please, come back to meThe price as the smiles and the kisses fade
Was the hopes and the memories stayedMaybe today or maybe tomorrow
I'll have to beg you to stay
I'll be your candleI'll show you the way
If I could find the words
To bring you back to meThe price of the words I could never say
Was the tears washed the love away
Please, please, come back to meThe price as the smiles and the kisses fade

Was the hopes and the memories stayed
Please, please, come back to meThe price of the words I could never say
Was the tears washed the love away
Please, please, come back to meThe price as the smiles and the kisses fade
Was the hopes and the memories stayed
Please, please, come back to me
