The Rocker Lyrics

I am your main man if you're looking for trouble
I'll take no lip no ones tougher than me
If I kicked your face you'd soon be seeing double
Hey little girl keep your hands off me
I'm a rocke, I'm a rocker
I'm a roller too, honey
I'm a rocker
Down at the juke joint me and the boys were stompin'
Bippin' and boppin' and telling a dirty joke or two
In walked this chick and I knew she was up to something
I kissed her right there out of the blue
I said "Hey baby meet me I'm a tough guy
I gotta move the cycle outside you wanna try?"
She just looked at me and rolled her eyes
I'll do it all for you, I'll show ya
I'm a rocker
I'm a roller too honey
I'm a rocker

I love to Rock and Roll
Got my records on the Rock On stall
Rock and roll
Teddy boy you got them all
You got them better
I love to Rock and Roll
Get my records on the Rock On stall
Rock and roll
Teddy boy you got them all all all all
I'm a rocker yeah

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Eddie first came to the attention of the jazz audience as a tenor saxophonist with the Thad Jones-Mel Lewis Orchestra. When Thad and Mel first organized their band in 1966 to play Monday nights at the Village Vanguard in New York (where it still plays), Eddie was one of the first musicians they called. Later that year, he sank $400 in a round-trip flight to Vienna to enter the International Competition for Modern Jazz, a contest organized by the pianist Fredrich Gulda and sponsored by the city of Vienna, and won first prize on saxophone.
