The Saint, the Sword, and the Savior Lyrics

We fell so far from home
Conscious of all the questions you will never ask
I'll wait and see if you can ever reach a different ending
I'm holding my breath, and we don't have longBut we are okay
Tonight is the only thing that matters
It's everything you've ever wanted
But we are okay
And even as the world dissolves around us
We'll sit inside and watch it all come down
Don't worry babe, we can work it outWhat have they done?
Is this the only choice for us to completely give in
How could this happen?
For all we know
This could have all been planned a long time ago
So why be alone? We won't be aloneBut we are okay
Tonight is the only thing that matters
It's everything you've ever wanted.
But we are okay

And even as the world dissolves around us
We'll sit inside and watch it all come downLet the tide walk alone
Rely on no one to pull it in
Did you think that it would be different?
So did IBut we are okay
Tonight is the only thing that matters
It's everything you've ever wanted
But we are okay
And even as the world dissolves around us
We'll sit inside and watch it all come downEven as the world dissolves around us
We will watch it all come down

Jamie's Elsewhere is from Sacramento, California, and was formed after the demise of Mozart Season in 2005 and are currently signed to Victory Records. Their sound is mellower than Mozart Season was, but still incorporate keyboard/piano elements. Some have compared Jamie's Elsewhere with bands such as Chiodos because of the ambient rock sound combined with raw screams and vocal variation. However, on their latest album, They Said a Storm Was Coming, their sound has been compared to the flourishing electronic-hardcore sound which hosts bands like Of Mice & Men and Asking Alexandria.
