The Time Has Come Lyrics

You know, baby
Since you took your love away
My heart's been stallin'
Kick the wall in, night and dayYeah, I've been sad
I've been down
I've been so to blameBaby, how was I to know
I burned our bridges down
But I know the time has come
To turn it back aroundThe time has come
For pickin' up the pieces
The time has come, hold on tight
Baby, don't you know
The time has comeYou are my eyes
And the vision in my life
You give me strength
You're the edge on my knifeYeah, I was tired
I was torn
I was so insaneBaby, how was I to know

I burned our bridges down
But I know the time has come
To turn it back aroundThe time has come
For pickin' up the pieces
The time has come, hold on tight
Baby, don't you knowThe time has come to talk for hours
Underneath the silver skies
Baby, love me 'til
The early mornin' lightYeah, I was tired
I was torn
I was so insaneBaby, how was I to know
I burned our bridges down
But I know the time has come
To turn it back aroundThe time has come
For pickin' up the pieces
The time has come, hold on tight
Baby, don't you know
The time has comeYeah, yeah, the time has come
Yeah, yeah, the time has come
