The Title Track Lyrics

It doesn't work that way
Youve seen enough to know better
Better recalculate this
This time use your heart and not your mindMaybe you just dont get it
And youve worked too hard to throw it all away
Youre just not ready, baby
To start over againSet, set, set, now youre ready to go
Couldnt make it better if it never belonged
Take your time, figure it out
It's a call to all the pain, this too shall passWell find a brand new way
Youve seen enough to do better
When you recalculate it
Darling, use your heartMaybe you just dont get it
And youve worked too hard to throw it all away
Youre just not willing baby
To start over againSet, set, set, now youre ready to go
Couldnt make it better if it never belonged
Can take your time, figure it out

It's a call to all the pain, this too shall pass
This too shall pass, this too shall passAin't it funny how we starve for our salvation
Maybe it was there in front of you
Searching in the strangest of all places
Maybe it was there beside you, know that this will passAll dressed up and youre ready to go
Couldnt make it better if it never belonged
Take your time, figure it out
Cant take away the pain, but it will pass, this too shall passSet, set, set, now youre ready to go
Couldnt make it better if it never belonged
Take your time, figure it out
It's a call to all the painSet, set, set, now youre ready to go
Take your time, figure it out
It's a call to all the pain, this too shall pass
This too shall pass, this too shall pass

A group plagued by major-label woes and break-ups, that was exactly what was essential for The Fold’s resilience: healing. Evolving from several Chicago-based rock outfits including Warner Brothers signees, Showoff, it seemed The Fold’s previous groups were in a place most musicians only dream of…and then things changed. “I suppose I gave up a lot when I left a major label band to start The Fold,” explains the band’s frontman and founder, Daniel Castady, “but if I did, it was because I knew that those things were passing away.”
