The Way It Goes Lyrics

Let's give it half a try
I think there's something here and I don't know why
This thing's been growing strong
Day after day and it's still not gone
I'm feeling so revealed
I'm thinking that my thoughts are unconcealed
I'm standing all alone with big problems of my own
I'm not meaning to be sly
But at least please tell me whyOh tell me, tell me why
Even if I try
It's just the way it goes, this is just the way it goes
My mind is overrated
I'm good, but I am jaded
And this is just the way it goes, it's the way it goesI'm searching for some friends
Elevators going down, down again
I can't stand to be on loan
I'm drooling like a dog that's waiting for a bone
So maybe if the sky turns blue

We could fly as if the day was just for me and you
If you're alone use the phone and we'll give it a try
The coast is clear I need to hear you say "Tell me why, oh why"Oh tell me, tell me why
Even if I try
It's just the way it goes, this is just the way it goes
My mind is overrated
I'm good, but I am faded
And this is just the way it goes, it's the way it goes
Revealing the problems
Conceal, reveal
You just don't understand
It's just the way it goesTell me where you are,
Tell me where you are,
Oh no
Tell me where you are,
It's just the way it goes
Oh yeahIt's the way it goes
